Erica Bertschy, LPCC | Denver Therapist Specializing in Life Transitions and Emotional Wellness

Hi, I’m Erica (she/her). I am a Denver-based therapist who supports adults through grief, burnout, and the tough transitions that can feel impossible to navigate alone. Before starting my private practice, I worked in hospice care, which shaped my belief that people need a safe and validating space to bring their full story, including the messy, painful, and complicated parts.

In therapy, I focus on helping you find steadiness and clarity when life feels overwhelming. That might mean developing practical coping tools, strengthening nervous system regulation, or practicing self-compassion in real and doable ways. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Mindfulness, and I bring humor and authenticity into the room so it feels less clinical and more human.

I believe therapy should be inclusive and accessible. I am LGBTQ+ affirming, anti-racist, and committed to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. All parts of your identity are welcome here.

Outside of my work, I am a mom to three young kids, which means I deeply understand the mental load of caregiving and the everyday overwhelm of family life. I love yoga, cooking with my partner, traveling, and being outdoors whenever I can.
