Meet Erica
Erica Bertschy, LPCC | Denver Therapist Specializing in Life Transitions and Emotional Wellness
I'm Erica (she/her), a Denver-based licensed therapist dedicated to supporting adults through life's most challenging transitions and overwhelming moments. With a background in hospice care and mental health counseling, I bring deep empathy to my work, offering a safe, validating space for those experiencing grief, emotional exhaustion, and the complex shifts that life brings.
Life's unexpected changes and emotional overwhelm can feel isolating, but you don't have to navigate them alone. I help clients develop practical coping strategies, nervous system regulation techniques, and self-compassion practices to move through challenges with clarity and resilience. My therapeutic approach integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Mindfulness-Based interventions, along with a touch of humor and authenticity.
My practice is rooted in inclusivity, respect, and justice. As an LGBTQ+ affirming and anti-racist therapist, I strive to create a space where all identities are seen, valued, and supported. I recognize the systemic barriers impacting mental health and am committed to providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.
Outside of counseling, I'm a mom to three young kids who understands the realities of overwhelming daily life and the mental load of caregiving. I also love yoga, traveling, being outdoors, and cooking with my family.
